Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Tramper to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Tramper, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver customer products on a curtain-sided trailer, utilizing load security techniques to ensure safe transportation.
  • Deliver loads throughout the UK, including full and groupage loads, and utilize a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone, and maintain regular contact with the transport team to ensure seamless communication.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working to deadlines.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual with good geographical knowledge.
  • Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
