As a Quality Manager, you will play a key role in driving down the cost of quality and implementing a proactive and preventive quality improvement culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe workspace and good housekeeping standards.
- Recognise the 'Voice of the Customer' in everything we do by contributing to a proactive and preventive quality improvement culture.
- Develop and manage the Quality Management System, ensuring synergy across sites.
- Drive down 'Cost of Quality' across the business, including internal quality, warranty, and reliability costs.
- Act as a 'change agent' to actively support the business with a strong focus on developing a proactive and preventive quality improvement culture and mindset across the business.
- Manage and develop the 'CAR' process, ensuring that internal quality problems and customer concerns are fully investigated using recognised problem solving tools and techniques.
- Ensure Business & Departmental Quality reviews take place.
- Generate Customer reports related to Quality failures or concerns.
Requirements:
- Hold a higher education qualification applicable to a Quality Engineering role and/or demonstrate at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis or problem solving tools.
- Positive attitude with a 'can do' mindset when faced with a quality challenge.
