Job Summary

State Street is seeking a highly experienced Regional Security Director to lead the management of the total asset protection program across Europe, Middle East and Africa. As a key member of the Global Security Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional security programs and practices, as well as enterprise-wide solutions to ensure the security and safety of State Street's executives, employees, assets, information, continuity of operations and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct subordinate managers and individual contributors in the coordination and implementation of site security, operations and activities to ensure protection of executives, employees, assets, information, continuity of operations and reputation.
  • Develop and implement performance standards and conduct periodic performance and compliance reviews.
  • Identify internal and external areas of vulnerability and conduct regular risk and security compliance assessments.
  • Develop and/or implement security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures, including emergency life/safety, incident management and business continuity plans.
  • Provide consulting and guidance during catastrophic events and make recommendations to eliminate identified weaknesses in security programs and policies.
  • Direct and/or lead contract negotiations with vendors to ensure best pricing for security services.
  • Develop the strategic direction for regional security operations, programs and projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Administration, Business Administration or equivalent with 20 years of professional private or public sector security management experience.
  • International experience managing security over a widespread and diverse cultural and legal environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of security principles, risk assessment and risk management.
  • Strong Physical Security Technology skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computer and security-related computer programs.
  • Able to travel to domestic and international locations.
