Fine Wine Sales Manager

About the Role:

New Chapter Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fine Wine Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing relationships, developing new business opportunities, and representing some of the most prestigious and respected producers in the wine industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management: Grow and manage existing relationships within the London market while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, using your knowledge to add value through education, events, and activations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, finance, and marketing) to deliver customers' needs and drive company growth.
  • Brand Management: Work closely with the brand management team to ensure marketing plans are executed effectively, including hosting tastings, events, and managing promotional programs and budgets.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate with brand owners and maintain strong working relationships.

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant trade sales experience within the London market.
  • Established Network: Established network of trade contacts within the sector.
  • London Based
  • Excellent Communication: Confident in approaching and securing new business opportunities.
  • Results-Driven: Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable meeting sales targets and managing budgets.
  • Strong Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Wine Knowledge: Good level of wine knowledge (WSET Level 3).
  • Team Player: Team player able to collaborate across departments.
