Medical and Surgical Ward Nurse

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board, Women and Children Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service, based at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in our 24 inpatient children's beds, 3 high dependency beds, and 8-bedded Paediatric Ambulatory care unit.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide family-centred care and support the needs of children and families.
- Develop and maintain a broad range of specialized skills, including the ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize work, and maintain best practice.
- Registered Nurse part 8 or 15 of register
- Current NMC Registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Statutory and mandatory training
- Awareness of Health Board Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines

Salary: £28,834 to £35,099 per annum pro rata.
