NOV Inc is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Greengate Business Unit. As an expert in CNC machining, you will play a critical role in operating and controlling numerically controlled (CNC) machines.

About the Role:

  • You will use your expertise to produce high-quality parts on CNC machines efficiently and safely.
  • You will perform set-up changes, operate machines, and conduct first-article inspections to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • You will load parts using overhead lifting equipment, prove programs, set offsets, and perform simple edits and de-burring.
  • You will identify and address machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, making necessary adjustments.
  • You will read engineering drawings and precision measuring instruments to determine dimensions, tolerance, and tooling requirements.
  • You will maintain knowledge of tooling instructions, including feed rates, cutting speeds, and cutting tools.
  • You will keep equipment and work area clean and orderly, performing basic preventative maintenance.
  • You will promote and ensure compliance with NOV Inc's quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • You will travel as required and perform other work-related tasks to meet business needs.
  • You will collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient workflow and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Recognized apprenticeship with CNC disciplines.
  • High level of expertise in CNC disciplines.
  • Ability to rapidly integrate new skills and adapt to various contexts.
  • Effective time management to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Able to define, work within, and improve business processes.
  • Action-oriented with energy and drive, seeking additional opportunities to contribute.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and industry standards.
