Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Care Specialist to join our team at Opal HealthCare. This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 3 days a week, working Monday to Friday in office hours.
As a Senior Care Specialist, you will provide support to the General Manager (GM) and Regional Care Assessment Consultants (RCAC) in the creation and storage of accurate ACFI appraisals.
You will lead the assessment of residents and deliver education initiatives to team members on optimal application of the ACFI.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the assessment of residents
- Deliver education initiatives to team members
- Support the GM and RCAC in the creation and storage of ACFI appraisals
- Demonstrate behaviours that support Opal HealthCare's values
About You:
- Current Practising Registration as a Nurse with AHPRA for at least 2 years
- Additional certifications in relation to ACFI or Quality activity highly desirable
- Demonstrated accurate ACFI documentation and monthly reporting
- Experience managing ACFI activities including assessments, collating answer appraisal and successful submission of claims to Medicare
- Capacity and knowledge to deliver training to all newly team care members and at regular intervals to all current team members as identified by Manager
