Job Summary:

Class 1 Personnel is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV2 Hiab Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. As a HGV2 Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customers' products to their required premises, ensuring exceptional customer service and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all legal and company requirements.
  • Undertake daily checks to ensure defects are reported and correct paperwork is completed.
  • Manage routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries.
  • Ensure correct equipment and PPE are in good order and used at all times.
  • Deal with customer issues in a polite and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV 2 licence
  • CPC card
  • Tacho Card
  • Valid Hiab ALLMI certificate
  • Full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Must have relevant HIAB certification

Desirable Qualities:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Reliability and good time keeping skills
  • Previous experience with deliveries is preferred

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 06:30 to minimum 8 hours, paid at £17.00 per hour.
