Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are working with a leading Manufacturing business in Hinckley on an exclusive basis. Our client is searching for a Financial Analyst to be the day-to-day lead on all Financials relating to the operation of the Company's costing and operating system. The ideal candidate will be a qualified individual with strong Costing Experience in a manufacturing environment. The Financial Analyst will also have strong IT & Excel skills along with excellent communication skills. As the Financial Analyst, you will report directly into the Managing Director & work closely with the wider Finance team.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that standard cost data is up to date and accurate
- Monitoring of actual versus standard gross margins and investigating any significant variances.
- Recommending changes to the systems and improving data capture and output.
- Monitoring of energy usage and operational efficiencies.
- Management accounts and variance analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI's for the Board in line with the agreed monthly timetable.
- Monthly cost to budget analysis.
- Updating the financial reforecast model each month

Project/Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
- Continual review of processes and looking to automate any manual processes.
- Monitor and recommend changes to the financial control framework and costing systems
- Ad hoc financial and business analysis

This position is full time, permanent & predominantly office based.
