Maintenance Engineer

Next Generation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a well-established engineering company based near Sparkhill. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing critical theoretical and technical knowledge while implementing innovative improvements in complex and unpredictable situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic investigations to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and ancillary equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to prevent unplanned downtime
- Collaborating with engineering and projects teams to drive sustained solutions and improvement projects
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer
- 16th, 17th, or 18th edition certification as an Engineer
- Experience with Siemens S7 and Fanuc/ABB qualification or equivalent
