Job Opportunity

Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join their team in a Long-term (Part-time) role. The ideal candidate will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Primary level pupils in a caring and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring the effective use and storage of equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with other members of staff to achieve academic and personal goals.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Possess recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1.
  • Classroom Management: Demonstrate a good level of classroom and behavior management skills.
