Regency Era Ambassador

The National Trust is seeking a skilled Visitor Experience Officer to join its team at Mompesson House in Salisbury's beautiful Cathedral Close. This exciting maternity cover opportunity offers the chance to work on a range of projects, including developing a Regency-inspired Christmas offer and participating in the National Trust's Festival of Blossom.

As a key member of the duty management team, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors, inspiring them to explore Mompesson House, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. You will also supervise volunteers, manage the house's second-hand bookshop, and contribute to updating social media accounts.

This is an annualised hours contract, with 1365 hours per year. When Mompesson House is open, you will work four days a week (Monday-Wednesday and one weekend day), and two days a week when the house is closed. You will also be part of the duty management team rota, acting as duty manager one day a week and covering holidays.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
