An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Reablement Service within Cheshire West and Chester Council.

We are looking to recruit in the Chester area.

As a Reablement Support Worker, you will be supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them to reach their full potential.

This may include managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills, setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence and confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.

As a member of the Reablement team, you will be working with a warm, friendly team based in Vale Royal and Rural areas within the Cheshire West and Chester area.

You will be supporting service users with dignity and compassion, like a member of their own family.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills, including personal and intimate care, to support service users to become independent in their home.
  • Setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence.
  • Building confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.
  • Possible medication management and supporting meal preparations.

Previous experience in a care setting is not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.
