About the Role

Kent PLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Onshore Pipeline Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Pipelines Delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of engineering deliverables and providing progress reporting for a project in accordance with the project plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the production of engineering deliverables and provide progress reporting for a project in accordance with the project plan.
  • Supervise and check the work of other engineers as delegated by the lead engineer or group manager.
  • Undertake specific tasks or areas of work as defined by the Pipelines lead or principal engineer.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from the original proposal or contract under the supervision of the lead or principal engineer.
  • Contribute to successful proposals and tenders.
  • Support the preparation of the Pipelines Deliverables Register and execute allocated tasks within the requirements of the project execution plan and TDR.
  • Ensure compliance with Kent's ISO accredited QMS and project-specific procedures, guides, and standards.
  • In consultation with the Pipelines group manager, take responsibility for identifying own development needs and ensuring that agreed development goals are met, taking due cognizance of project commitments.
Requirements
  • Typically holds a Master's Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Naval Architecture, or a similar engineering discipline.
  • Chartered status preferred.
  • Exposure to FEED or detailed design and EPC projects.
  • Experience of working for engineering or client organisations in the onshore or offshore oil and gas industry.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of subsea and pipeline engineering, and of regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards.
  • Experience in design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector is considered advantageous.
