About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Institutional Equity Sales to join our team at Bernstein. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, wealth managers, and advisors managing pensions and endowments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key investment decision makers at institutional clients, providing them with expert knowledge and insights on our equity research and brokerage services.
  • Sales and Business Development: Proactively sell our equity research and brokerage services to a well-targeted client base, with a focus on growing our existing client base and onboarding new contacts and clients.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our equity research and brokerage services, including our Blackbooks, and be able to articulate the value proposition to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our research analysts, salespeople, and trade execution teams to provide a seamless client experience and drive business growth.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics or Business Administration, and ideally CFA. 4-6 years of relevant, professional experience in financial markets, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
