Key Responsibilities- Operate a Class 1 HGV in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and report any defects to the maintenance team.
- Load and secure goods correctly to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- C+E driving licence and valid DigiTacho.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 18kg.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours.
- Opportunity to earn an additional day of annual leave each year up to the maximum of one extra week for length of service.
