Job Title: Multi-Trade Operative

Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Voids team based in Salisbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to empty properties, including construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties within social housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend properties to carry out repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain a suitable van stock level and restock as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works, ensuring customers understand the process.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to provide emergency support.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (Plastering, Carpentry) or be undertaking this qualification.
  • Have recent experience in a similar role within social housing, or be willing to learn and develop your skills.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Have a working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Hold a full valid UK driving license.
