We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our construction education and curriculum team. As Head of Construction Education and Curriculum, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality construction training programmes, managing curriculum development, quality assurance, and budgetary control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead curriculum management and support teams
- Implement strategies to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant construction training
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and other industry standards
- Manage the delivery of apprenticeship and commercial programmes
- Build and maintain relationships with key employers and stakeholders
Requirements:
- A construction-related background with relevant qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Construction Education training programmes
- Strong understanding of funding rules for apprenticeships
- Proven track record of managing performance through people
- Level 5 teaching qualification
- Extensive experience in educational leadership, including multi-site operations
- Proven ability to deliver curriculum efficiencies and drive high performance
- Excellent team leadership and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Degree or higher qualification in a relevant subject
- Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
Special Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Full driving licence
- Flexibility with working hours and the ability to travel across the UK as required
