My Client, a leading food manufacturing company based in Bedfordshire, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join their team. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence across the food manufacturing processes.

You will lead a dedicated team of professionals and implement industry-leading practices in quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance to support the company's continued success.

  • Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance, support, and coaching.
  • Develop and maintain robust quality control and food safety programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, including customer complaints.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, implementing necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a technical management role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
