About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Principal Capability Engineer - Future Combat Air. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and concepts for 6th Gen combat air capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and strategic support in Multifunction Processing (MFP) and Digital Backbone (DBB) areas, focusing on situational awareness and non-kinetic capabilities.
  • Ensure capability techno-strategic input into FCAS-AP and FCAS-TI program delivery.
  • Support MFP/DBB technology and engineering roadmap development.
  • Support GCAP Operational Analysis in the context of MFP/DBB capabilities.
  • Lead and manage organization, facilitation, and lessons/actions/data capture for MFP/DBB.
  • Lead and manage setup, organization, facilitation, and lessons/actions/data capture for cross-LoB FAST forum.
  • Work with Head of FCAS Technologies and Head of Operational Capability to inform MFP/DBB technical requirements capture.
  • Collaborate across FCA and all other LoBs for pro-active interaction and information sharing.
  • Support disruptive technologies scouting, applied research, and exploratory exploitation in MFP/DBB area.
  • Support GCAP international development activities in MFP/DBB area.
Requirements
  • Degree educated with Engineering R&D experience.
  • Ability to build relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with situational awareness and non-kinetic effecting concepts in Combat Air domain.
