About the Role

Mason Blake is seeking an experienced Equity Execution Trader to join their Fundamental Equity and Systematic business. The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers to advise on market colour, portfolio positioning, and risk levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative and analytical background, with a passion for trading and a keen interest in macro events. They will be responsible for surveying and analysing equity markets, actively contributing to the equity investment process, and taking ownership of trade structuring and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide market insights and analysis to Portfolio Managers
  • Contribute to the development of investment strategies
  • Execute trades in accordance with investment decisions
  • Monitor and manage risk levels
  • Stay up-to-date with market information and macro events

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in equity trading
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Passion for trading and interest in macro events
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
