We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client in East Kent on a long-term contract. As the leader of a small finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of a key division, providing strategic financial insights and analytical support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts, delivering comprehensive reporting packs to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely monthly management accounts, providing insightful performance analysis and benchmarking.
  • Rigorously oversee financial oversight for new projects, ensuring the integrity of balance sheet accounts with regular quarterly reviews and monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare investment appraisals, conduct post-investment reviews, and provide commercial analysis.
  • Partner with department heads to identify growth opportunities and efficiencies, while serving as the primary financial contact for the pub operations team.

As the ideal candidate, you will be qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA, with proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Partnering. Experience in the retail or manufacturing industries would be beneficial. Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly SAP, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, are essential. Strong communication skills are key, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

We offer a salary ranging from £60,000 to £75,000 (based on experience) plus hybrid working and a range of company benefits.
