Electronics Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Specialist to join our team at Bluegate Consulting. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design of new products, maintenance, and upgrade of existing products, and managing design projects from conception to volume manufacture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing practical, cost-effective electronic designs
  • Schematic and PCB layout
  • Specification of microcontrollers for embedded systems and programming in C
  • Test and validation of the design before release for manufacture
  • Working with Purchasing and suppliers to select the most appropriate cost-effective technology
  • Aiding junior engineers to develop their skills

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field and experience in designing and developing electronic products.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital and analogue electronics
  • Experience with PCB design and layout
  • Proficiency in C programming
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
