Job Description:

As an Exterior CAD Design Engineer, your main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing exterior systems for automotive applications, including bumpers, grilles, fenders, exterior trim, spoilers, and lighting.
  • Utilizing CATIA V5 software to create and iterate on designs.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to incorporate DFM and Moldflow feedback.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry best practices and legislation.
  • Releasing designs and iterating based on CAE/virtual test analysis and feedback.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with high-end SUVs and BEV/EV designs.
  • Knowledge of exterior methodologies and general requirements.
  • Start-up experience.
