About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor to join our successful and growing team at our Derby office. As a key member of our Private Client department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of private client matters, including wills, LPAs, estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading and award-winning law firm with a strong presence throughout the Midlands. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and experienced team, with opportunities for growth and progression within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters, including wills, LPAs, estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients at all levels
  • Provide a high-quality service to clients, ensuring excellent written and numeracy skills
  • Meet deadlines and manage time effectively
Requirements
  • Private client background with ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • 2+ PQE, although applications from lesser PQE individuals will be welcomed
  • Ability to create and nurture relationships with key clients at all levels
  • Desire and ability to provide a high-quality service
  • Excellent written and numeracy skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, and meeting deadlines
