About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EYFS teacher to join our team at Wayman Education. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a Good primary school in West London, supporting the development of young learners and contributing to their well-rounded growth.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Plan and execute learning activities for children in accordance with the National Curriculum, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting respect, empathy, and open communication among students and colleagues.
  • Evaluation and Adaptation: Regularly evaluate each child's progress and adapt the curriculum accordingly, incorporating feedback from parents and peers to ensure optimal results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and senior staff members through effective communication, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices and improve teaching skills.
  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the health and safety of all students are maintained at all times, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with EYFS Curriculum and pedagogy, with a proven track record of success in a classroom setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other education professionals.
