The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and negotiating key fund documents, including limited partnership agreements, PPM's, and subscription documents.
  • Leading fund formation processes for private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, and credit funds.
  • Providing regulatory advice on matters such as Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and financial promotions.
  • Mentoring junior associates and contributing to the team's business development efforts.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in funds (Common law candidates are also welcome)
  • Solid experience in drafting and negotiating essential fund documents and managing closed-ended fund formations.
  • A strong understanding of fund structures, relevant regulations, and financial laws.
  • Proven ability to handle client relationships and complex transactions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Strong academic background and a knack for problem-solving.
