About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Hartford Care team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Supervise and lead the care team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to deliver excellent care.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and supportive care environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
