Warehouse Operative Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at B&M Retail's Speke Distribution Centre. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate picking and packing of products for our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing products to meet customer demand
- Operating mechanical handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team targets and goals
- Meeting productivity and quality standards

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (desirable)
- Ability to work at pace and meet productivity targets
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move stock safely
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday from 10pm – 6am
- Saturday - Monday from 6am - 6pm
- Saturday - Monday from 6pm - 6am
- Rotation - Monday - Friday (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)

So what does the role of a Warehouse Operative entail:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for serving our customers better than anyone else by getting the right stock, at the right time, to the right place. You will be trained on how to drive safely around our warehouse, on our Mechanical Handling Equipment, called LLOP's, and how to pick product correctly for stores and ensure they are beautifully stacked on a pallet ready to go.
What else do you need to know:
- No chill or freezer work
- We are looking for team players who also thrive when working independently
- You must be self-motivated, can work at pace, meet the required standards and targets
- The role can be physically demanding, however, rest assured it will keep you active
