Job Description

As a Mechanical Project Engineer in the Nuclear Industry at Assystem GmbH, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of emergency power systems.

You will work closely with the Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) to manage technical aspects and ensure contract compliance, with a focus on emergency diesel generators essential for nuclear safety.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the client in contractual relationships with suppliers.
  • Review supplier documents and coordinate reviews for diesel generator projects.
  • Produce comment sheets and discuss with suppliers on technical issues related to emergency power systems.
  • Manage modifications, open points, and scope gaps on diesel generator contracts.
  • Support resolution of technical issues and non-conformities related to emergency power systems.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive knowledge of moving mechanical equipment, such as rotating equipment or auxiliary systems.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience working on heavy industrial projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex engineering tasks.

Experience using change management and commercial systems is also desirable.

Estimated salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
