Senior Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our team in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for various projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Drainage Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including infrastructure design, water management, and drainage systems. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement drainage systems for various projects
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical specialists to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project schedules and ensure quality deliverables
  • Supervise design teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections
Requirements
  • UK experience of working on public, private, or third sector drainage design projects
  • Competency using UK standards such as DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Street, MCHW, CDM, and local authority standards
  • Ability to design all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design
  • Experience of drainage design interfaces (e.g., highways, rail, geotechnical, environmental, structural)
  • Relevant qualification in an Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent experience in the UK
  • The legal right to work in the UK
