Job Title: Apprentice Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Bristol Structures team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services on major defence and nuclear projects in the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analysis of structures using conventional engineering materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) to Eurocodes.
  • Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit).
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies, including digital engineering, automation, and parametric design.
  • Flexible attitude to work type and level of responsibility.
  • Contribute to the development of the multi-disciplined project team's approach.
  • Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters.
  • Present results to clients under supervision of an AtkinsRéalis lead designer.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials.
  • Experience in the use of structural analysis design software.
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies.
  • Flexible attitude to work type and level of responsibility.
