About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Resident Fabric Engineer to join our team based on-site at our client's large campus in south Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering multi-skilled services for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive, and minor life cycle works across our client's site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned preventative, multi-disciplined maintenance and reactive works to the buildings fabric, plant, equipment, and systems.
  • Respond to site engineering emergencies on behalf of our clients.
  • Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks conducted to provide safe working practices.
  • Supervise subcontractors effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
  • Use of a mobile device using the clients CAFM system, accepting jobs, ensuring job SLA's are not breached, and providing updates on jobs for the client to view.
  • Temporary repairs to flooring, carpets, lino, and screeds.
  • Suspended ceiling repairs.
  • Shelving, racking.
  • Lock changes/repairs.
  • External repairs, i.e., patch brickwork.
  • Decorating and carpentry.
