About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Allied Health service. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with complex needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective speech and language therapy services to enable and support adults with complex needs.
  • Support and enable adults to have control, choice, and equality in daily life to the benefit of their health and well-being.
  • Provide specialist advice, supervision, and clinical support to more junior therapists and care staff.
Requirements
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Clinical expertise reflecting evidence-based practice in the specialist field of multiple and complex needs.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload, with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience of good interdisciplinary working with a holistic outlook and delivering an effective customer-focused service.
  • Dysphagia and Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC) experience is essential.
