About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sound Engineer to join our entertainment team at The Ned, a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants. As a Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for providing live sound engineering for various shows and events across our venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide live sound engineering for shows in The Nickel stage, The Parlour, and membership events
  • Set up backline and PA systems for events, including managing sound checks
  • Be a point of contact for musicians on site at The Ned
  • Represent The Ned and assist freelance staff covering lighting or audio, ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Maintain equipment and storage areas, adhering to great working practices
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in audio engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in live sound engineering
  • Flexibility in working schedules, with live music happening throughout the day and evening
  • Professionalism and confidentiality when working with high-profile performers
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
