Citadel Source is proud to collaborate with Frostkrone UK in seeking an exceptional Strategic Financial Leader to spearhead their UK CFO role.

Following Frostkrone's strategic acquisition of Abergavenny Fine Foods in 2021, the company has continued to expand its presence in the UK market, partnering with key players in the retail sector. The UK business has demonstrated consistently positive performance, showcasing over 20% year-on-year growth.

This role will be a key member of the UK MD's leadership team, driving commercial performance through effective financial planning, budgeting, and business development. Whether you are an ambitious CFO looking to advance your career or a seasoned Finance Director seeking a new challenge, this opportunity offers a unique chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the UK financial, budgeting, business planning, and controlling functions.
  • Manage the financial formalities and processes within the UK Group Headquarters.
  • Provide strategic financial oversight to the UK Leadership Team, ensuring informed decision-making and business performance.
  • Drive commercial performance through world-class business partnering, supporting margin maintenance, customer profitability, and inflation recovery.
  • Administer the financial strategy, overseeing all finance activities and policies, including accounting, planning, internal audit, cost control, and analysis.
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the FK Group.
  • Prepare and approve UK legal entities and financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to group and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and ensuring accurate, timely, and clear business and financial reporting.
  • Establish a strong relationship with financial auditors and statutory bodies.
  • Manage and coordinate all local Finance & Controlling personnel and work streams.
