Site Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Security Officer to join our team at the MAN Commercial Protection's Daventry Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site is secure, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations.
About the RoleThe Site Security Officer will work closely with our operations team to ensure the smooth running of the site. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing security coverage during day and night shifts, including weekends
- Conducting regular patrols of the site to identify potential security risks
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents as required
- Managing access to the site, including checking visitors' ID and vehicles
- Performing search and screening procedures when necessary
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence (CCTV Licence is an advantage but not a requirement)
- A 5-year checkable work/education history
- Competent computer skills with a good knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to create comprehensive incident reports
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
