Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering specialist to join our Airworthiness and Product Integrity team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in delivering digital engineering capabilities that enable safe and secure airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tasks in a timely, consistent, and professional manner by establishing and delivering engineering activities aligned with the businesses Digital Engineering transformation.
  • Exploit learning across Air and other BAE Systems Units, as well as the broader industry, including regulators, customers, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate activities with other leads on Digital Engineering transformation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Degree or HNC/HND or demonstrated experience in Airworthiness / Future Capability Initial Airworthiness, Certification, Requirements Engineering (DEFSTAN) Model-Based Systems Engineering, and related techniques, processes & tools (ISO 15288).
  • Exhibits positive behaviour, integrity, adaptability, courage, collaboration, and creativity.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Engineering Lifecycle and Engineering Integration.
  • Understanding of Safety Engineering processes, practices & tools.
