Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Defence Operations team, you will play a critical role in shaping and maturing our Cyber Defence and wider business security strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Cyber Threat Intelligence: You will be responsible for regularly assessing and ensuring we understand our top threat actors and groups. This involves providing operational security teams with actionable information to help them make informed decisions.
- Research and Mitigation: You will proactively research and collaborate to implement mitigations against impending attacks. Your goal is to stay ahead of emerging threats and protect our clients' digital assets and infrastructure.
- Communication and Collaboration: You will work with stakeholders at all levels to communicate security risks discovered through threat intelligence. This requires strong reporting ability and an understanding of how to tailor reports to different audiences.
- Strategic Development: You will deliver continual requirements to improve our threat intelligence strategy and capabilities. This includes leading on harnessing and developing our Threat Intel Platform.
Requirements
- Cyber Threat Groups: You have experience and understanding of Cyber threat groups, TTP's, and motivations behind these groups.
- Scripting Language: You are competent in a scripting language, preferably Python.
- Threat Intelligence Platform: You have experience creating or continually improving a threat intelligence platform.
- Reporting and Communication: You have strong reporting ability and understanding of how to tailor reports to different audiences.
- Automation Technologies: You have familiarity with automation technologies.
- Cloud Environments: Experience in Cloud environments is desirable.
- Security Certification: Security Certification like CISSP, GCTI, CPTIA, CCTIM or equivalent is preferred.
