We are Rubber Duck Cars, a leading accident repair bodyshop based in London, Woolwich. We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team.

About the Job:

As a skilled MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks including:

  • Performing mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
  • Dismantling vehicles for panel work.
  • Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Ordering replacement parts.
  • Re-assembling vehicles with new parts to pre-accident condition.

In this role, you will need to plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready within agreed-upon timescales. You must also work safely under pressure, carry out work according to manufacturers' specifications, and work as part of a team while taking initiative when necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have experience as a MET Technician in a bodyshop environment or hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Technology. You should be flexible, able to work to high standards, and prioritise customer satisfaction.

Salary:

The salary for this position is up to £20 per hour, with a basic salary of £40,000 per annum.
