Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of European entities with tax regulations, including VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and computations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage European entities VAT Returns and Corporation Tax Returns, ensuring timely payments and compliance.
- Review and analyse VAT rates applied to new products, performing quarterly reviews of all products sold.
- Minimise VAT liabilities and compliance issues through effective tax planning and risk management.
- Prepare and submit tax-related reporting for US Group Finance and Tax teams.
- Provide tax advisory services to the local team on US tax-related matters impacting local operations and accounting.
- Conduct quarterly Local GAAP and US GAAP ETR calculations and FIN48 reviews.
- Collaborate with the business on Corporation Tax and indirect tax questions, serving as a point of contact.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in tax compliance, with experience in managing European entities VAT returns and corporation tax returns. You should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
