Electrical Network Asset Data Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Network Asset Data Coordinator to join our team at UK Power Networks.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with us in maintaining and validating all asset data held within our Asset Register in SAP. You will be responsible for ensuring that accurate registration of assets drives and underpins various activities and decisions, such as setting inspection and maintenance programmes, reporting asset volumes and changes to comply with license conditions, and recording asset conditions, defects, and ESQCR details.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrical networks, plant & equipment at all voltages, and knowledge or experience in registering asset details. They will also possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to correctly interpret data supplied from field staff and contractors, and understand when data may be inaccurate.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the Asset Register in SAP, creating and amending records relating to electrical and civil asset details, including substations, overhead lines, gas and fluid filled cables.
- Review data for quality and completeness, improving upon both where practical.
- Update task lists and maintenance plans.
- Maintain remedial work orders.
- Review and action equipment amendments notified via asset register amendment forms.
- Add new equipment following CAPEX and connection schemes.
- Remove equipment, including cancellation of associated maintenance plans and work orders.
- Monitor and validate data provided by inspection and maintenance field staff and cleanse data.
- Validate entries in SAP, Netmap, and PowerOn.
- Resolve discrepancies in data and minimize inaccuracies.
