Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marine, Engineering & Specialty Claims to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and adjustment of all Marine, Engineering, and Specialty claims, ensuring a quality claims service that meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and adjust Marine, Engineering, and Specialty claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Participate in leadership and underwriting meetings, providing feedback on policy wordings and market losses.
  • Represent the company in claims meetings and discussions, both in the UK and worldwide.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve claims management and reduce losses.

Requirements

  • Sound business knowledge and understanding of insurance practice, generic legal principles, FCA rules and regulations, and Lloyd's regulations.
  • Proven experience in claims management, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
