Electronics Engineering Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal leadership role in leading projects and teams, setting high standards for engineering practices, and being recognized as an expert in your field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and review system architectures, overseeing power and signal transmission, and ensuring effective power management and production processes.
  • Provide expert knowledge in circuit design, components, and PCB technology, with a focus on EMC, power management, servo control, processor interfacing, and communications.
  • Drive process improvements, foster innovation, and lead the technical aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring systematic approaches are adopted.
  • Resource planning, mentoring, and supporting the training and development of engineers within a sub-team.
Requirements
  • A strong degree in a related discipline accredited by the IET, with around 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in leading and supervising projects or teams.
  • Comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of electronics design.
  • Proficient in analysis-based activities, including circuit emulation, performance assessments, and power budgeting.
  • Ability to identify key project risks, schedules, critical design activities, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
