About this Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Expereo. This role will involve providing legal expertise and guidance to support the company's strategic objectives, working closely with senior management and external legal partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive legal support across various areas, including corporate governance, contracts, IT and Telco law, regulatory compliance, employment law, and risk management.
  • Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing international commercial contracts.
  • Supporting RFP processes and product development.
  • Identifying commercial and legal risks arising from proposed deals and projects.
  • Providing commercial/legal contract training to the Expereo purchase and sales department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school;
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department;
  • IT, Telco or SI experience is preferred;
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and management;
    • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
    • Strong problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
    • A good understanding of legal issues and experience in a dynamic and international work environment;
    • Customer and business focused;
    • Proactive and team worker, flexible, able to deal with ambiguity and set priorities.
