About the Role: We are seeking an Unqualified English Teaching Assistant to support students with their English studies at a secondary school in Ealing. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students achieve academic success.

The School: Our client is a great Secondary school located in Hounslow, easily accessible via public transport. They have brilliant facilities, a welcoming staff, and a strong pastoral support team. The school values all its members and strives for excellence in education.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with English KS3-KS5 curriculum
  • Assist students with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia
  • To support children in 1:1 and group settings
  • Using creativity and imagination to engage students for long periods of time
  • To report back to lead teacher to update them on progress of each student

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £105-110 per day. This full-time, long-term position comes with the opportunity for salaried Teacher Training for September 2025. You will be paid to train as an English teacher with no fees.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in English or subjects involving English. Strong GCSE and A-Level knowledge of the curriculum is essential. You must be enthusiastic about English and supporting students, passionate about working with SEN children, confident, and outgoing. A professional attitude and approach to work are also required.
