About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services, including biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting
  • Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
  • Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables
  • Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
  • Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the HCPC
  • At least 4 years of laboratory experience in Biochemistry, Haematology, and Blood Transfusion
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
