CLD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health and Social Care professional to lead our Therapy Team. As Head of Performance Services, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the therapies team, including recruitment, appraisal, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the therapy team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  2. Caseload Management: Manage the unit's complex caseload, providing highly specialist treatment programmes to meet individual needs and outcomes.
  3. Therapy Programme Development: Assess individual service user needs and develop an appropriate therapy programme to meet those needs.
  4. Evidence-Based Practice: Implement evidence-based practice, ensuring effective service provision and positive outcomes.
  5. Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching within the therapy team and across the wider centre.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other areas of the organisation, including fundraising, marketing, and policy/campaigns, to provide information and analysis to support the delivery of the organisational strategy.
  7. Service Management: Facilitate the safe and smooth running of the Service, maintaining a safe working environment, service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks.
  8. Financial Management: Help control and minimise expenditure and costs where appropriate.
  9. Risk Management: Highlight risks that impact on patient care, experience, or safety and ensure that risks are managed, mitigated, and reported upon.
  10. Clinical Governance: Ensure that clinical services meet relevant Care Standards Act, Environmental Standards, and Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: BSc degree level qualification in either Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  2. Management Experience: Management degree or equivalent experience.
  3. Specialisation: Post-registration training in a relevant speciality.
