Job ResponsibilitiesWe seek a highly skilled Chocolatier Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at our expertly equipped production kitchen in Brentford. As a key member, you will be responsible for producing exquisite chocolate and pastry products using creative techniques and high-quality, healthy ingredients. Your ability to innovate and adapt will be essential in helping us stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with our Executive Chef to develop premium chocolates and pastries focusing on healthier ingredients.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to stay current with industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supplier information, and production data.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in culinary arts or a related field, preferably with experience working in a high-end or artisanal chocolate/pastry business. Strong knowledge of healthy food trends, particularly with low-sugar, paleo, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, is essential. Experience mentoring junior staff and managing inventory levels is also beneficial.
