Pertemps Bond FLT Driver Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled FLT Driver to join our team at Pertemps Bond. As a FLT Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and inspecting incoming goods, ensuring the safety and security of all stock, and moving items throughout the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Unload Delivery Vehicles: Safely and efficiently unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Receive and Inspect Goods: Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying that they match the order and are in good condition.
  • Ensure Stock Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of all stock, including proper storage and handling procedures.
  • Move Items Throughout the Warehouse: Move items throughout the warehouse, using a forklift truck or other equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance License: Possess a valid Counterbalance license and be willing to convert to a TLT license if not already held.
  • Strong Time Management Skills: Demonstrate strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Keen Attention to Detail: Possess a keen attention to detail, with the ability to accurately inspect and verify goods.
  • Confidence in Operating a Forklift Truck: Demonstrate confidence in operating a forklift truck, with the ability to safely and efficiently move items throughout the warehouse.
